LISTSERV INFO
When you join CAMMP, the CAMMP secretary verifies your membership eligibility and makes you a member of the CAMMP listserv. Shortly thereafter you will receive instructions on how to post messages and you will begin receiving listserv postings from fellow CAMMP members.
If you choose to reply to the entire listserv, simply select 'reply' in your e-mail program.
Many times, it is preferable to respond directly to the sender, without copying the entire listserv on your response. In that case, select reply. Copy the sender's e-mail address and paste it into the 'To' line of your e-mail and cut the 'A discussion list for alumni membership & marketing staff' addressee.
To post an e-mail, type cammp@list.uff.ufl.edu into the 'To' line of your e-mail program. Note: In order to post to the listserv, you must use the exact e-mail address that you submitted when you joined in the 'From' line. The listserv serve does not recognize e-mail aliases.
LISTSERV RULES
1. Confidentiality. We discuss (very frankly) issues facing our associations, relationships within our institutions and the good, the bad and the ugly in relationships with vendors and affinity partners. It is very important that this type of information stays within the group. Listserv postings should not be shared – even with our office colleagues – without the permission of the author.
If we discover that a member has violated this rule, CAMMP may remove the offender from the listserv.
2. Focus. Our listserv should also focus primarily on membership and marketing issues. There are many other great listservs that deal with programming, communications and development issues.
ARCHIVES
All postings and responses are archived on the CAMMP listserv. So, be careful what you write. It is preserved for posterity.
To view the archives click here. When prompted enter the exact e-mail address that you submitted when you joined.
