Weather
Hot and humid are two key words that describe Orlando, Florida in the summertime. Typically in July there is a high of 92° and a low of 71° with sporadic rain showers in the afternoons. The warm sunshine typically rises around 6:30 AM and sets around 8:30 PM.

CAMMP-cation Attire
When you're on CAMMP-cation it is your time to relax and unwind from your day-to-day schedule. Please feel free to dress comfortably in your favorite t-shirts, shorts, or flip-flops. We even welcome your best tourist attire! Who knows, we might even give fabulous prizes for the tackiest tourist!

TIP: The meeting rooms can get a bit chilly at times so you may want to bring a jacket just in case.

Information Exchange
A big part of the CAMMP conference is to share materials with other CAMMPers. Be sure to ship or bring samples of membership appeals, renewals, letters, fulfillment packages, brochures, student alumni info and/or "gimme" items that have worked well for you in the past. Tables will be set up for you to display your materials. It's a give and take and time will be set aside to peruse the tables. Be sure to bring several copies of your materials (30-40 of each item works well). Magazines aren't as popular as membership/marketing pieces and giveaways.

NEW THIS CONFERENCE! – Community Service Project
We're adding a new twist to this year's conference. We get so much out of these conferences; we decided it was time to give a little back. We'll be having a school supply drive to help a local Orlando organization near and dear to the UCF Alumni Association – A Gift For Teaching. Our UCF Alumni Community Volunteers Chapter hosts an event with them every August so the conference is perfect timing!

We're asking you to donate school supplies (we'll be asking the sponsors too). Bring #2 pencils, rulers, folders, backpacks, notebook paper and more. It can even have your school logo on it. Just think of how many students we can promote our wonderful colleges and universities to. If you don't have such items, you are also welcome to purchase regular items from the store. Ship your school supplies contributions with your marketing materials. We'll have a collection bin in the alumni center. Click here for a complete wish list of school supplies.

They can also use new promotional items and gifts. These are just the thing for rewarding students' achievements: buttons, tote bags, mugs, t-shirts, key rings, clocks, water bottles, visors, caps and logo items.
   

Business Card Exchange
Our sponsors can't get enough of us, so be sure to bring around 50 business cards to share with them… they give out fabulous prizes! No really, these are the good prizes!

You won't need to worry about bringing enough business cards to exchange with other CAMMPers, you'll be provided with a complete list of everyone's contact information. 

School Merchandise Swap
We'll be having our Merchandise Swap during lunch on Thursday. Bring one item per attendee from your school, such as a sweatshirt, ball cap, stuffed mascot toy etc. for the swap. Bring it with you to check in or the first session as we'll be collecting the items from you.

Computers
Even though you are on CAMMP-cation you are more than welcome to bring your laptop if you need one to check on your work back home. The UCF FAIRWINDS Alumni Center is wireless and will allow you to connect at your convenience. Connection details will be provided upon arrival.

Parking
If you are renting a car, you'll be able to leave it at the hotel. We'll provide bussing for CAMMPers to all sessions and activities.
